Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music Bronx Concert reviews
Pink in Seattle
I am very grateful that Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music didn't cancel the show despite the separated shoulder. The injury was disappointing as she couldn't perform the aerial stunts or all the dance moves that I was eagerly anticipating. I wondered how much had been removed from the show to accommodate her, as she was visibly in pain.
It was sad for me, being familiar with her performances in Europe and Australia, and having seen her DVD's. Those unfamiliar with her previous work may not have noticed, but the circumstances left me feeling down.
The show, dancers, stage, and, of course, Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, truly impressed and delivered a great performance.
